Christy started his own business Christy Ryan & Associates Ltd. in Cook Street, Cork, in March 1994 and shortly after, moved to his premises in Keysers Court, Frenches Quay where he continued to operate his business until his untimely death in February 2021.

Christy Ryan & Associates continues to thrive and is now being run by his wife, Miriam and their three daughters.
